Stay Inside, Stay Sane

Updated: Mar 25, 2020

It’s been a hectic week. As the Coronavirus, or COVID-19, continues to spread, more and more companies continue to close; that means no restaurants, no stores, and no work. If you’re lucky, you’re probably working from home. Even then, you might feel like you’re losing your mind a little bit.

As humans, we need social interaction to stay healthy. As we continue to get more news about the rapid spread of the virus, our level of stress is heightened, so it’s up to us to take charge of our mental health during a time like this. Let’s take this time to practice some self-care, something we so often push aside during our demanding lives.

Here are some suggestions on how to stay busy and productive:

Whether it’s taking some time out of your day to exercise, meditate, read, cook, or clean, these are all little steps to making a big change! It can be a few days or maybe even a few weeks of being indoors; all we can do is make the best of the situation and make sure we remember to relax. Perhaps this global crisis could teach us a foundation of ways to cope with stress in our everyday lives. We still live in a modern world, technology, for most, is at your fingertips. Don’t forget to call your friends and family, video chat them, and stay sane!

We encourage you to drink lots of water, wash your hands, and enjoy some time with yourself.

How will you feel post-quarantine?
